Dwight H. Judy
Dwight H. Judy, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Formation at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. He continues to teach at the seminary part-time in the spiritual formation program and offers online continuing ed courses through the school’s Rueben Job Institute for Spiritual Formation.
An ordained United Methodist minister, Dwight retired in 2009 after 40 years of service. During his career, he served as parish pastor, academic administrator of two graduate programs, retreat leader, retreat center director, spiritual director, and faculty member. Licensed as a psychologist in California, he maintains membership in two organizations: the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and Spiritual Directors International. Dwight has also served as an adjunct faculty member for The Upper Room’s Academy for Spiritual Formation.
Dwight and his wife, Ruth, live in Syracuse, Indiana, and are the parents of two grown sons.
