Derek Maul

Award-winning journalist Derek Maul writes for magazines, newspapers, and online venues. His credits include Guideposts, Newsweek, USA Today, the Christian Science Monitor, and Chicken Soup for the Soul. When he’s not writing, Derek travels to speak about the fully engaged Christian life, specializing in men’s ministry and events focused on spiritual formation.

Derek is active in teaching at his church through adult Sunday school, small-group ministry, and a men’s Bible study/spiritual formation group. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, photography, reading, cooking, playing guitar, and golf.

Derek’s latest book is 10 Life-Charged Words for Men. His other titles include Get Real, Reaching Toward Easter, and The Unmaking of a Part-Time Christian.
